Vision The vision is to share what God’s love looks like, in character and attribute, by sharing our faith stories of what Christ has done in our own lives. Our desire by sharing our stories is to give God the glory. As a result of hearing our stories, it is our hope that she will realize she is not alone in her journey and she will recognize God’s love and character, apply it to her own life and to grow in her faith. When we gather, we want her to feel His love.
What I love about Her Life Speaks: Her Life Speaks is known as a trusted place where women gather. When I sit and listen to women share their faith stories in our community and I can see Jesus through their stories, I am BLESSED. It’s that very moment when I feel the peace and movement of Christ in me. Lives changes by sharing our stories. My life scripture: "Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us” Ephesians 3:20 If I had three hours of free time to do anything I wanted, you would find me: As an extrovert, I’d have to be with my peeps. I would be spending the time with my family. It might sound cliché but I have found the when our kids become young adults, something wonderful happens; they become our friends. So, my hubby, 3 daughters, and son-in-love, would tool around NY; go to an event of some kind; a show or a museum, definitely go shopping and end the day with High Tea and talk about our day and life. I just love making new memories! My favorite thing about New Jersey: The beach… undeniably, the beach! When I was a kid, I wanted to grow up and be: Ha ha… don’t laugh… a Rock Star. I always wanted to offer a creative and passionate message to an audience. What has surprised me most in life: I am in the stage of my life of empty nesting. I am married for 32 years to my beloved and when I turn around and see where we began; marriage, my girls entering into our lives, raising them and now as they are all living their lives on their own… what amazes me is that we’ve come fullcircle. What has surprised me the most is to know what it feels like to be on the other side of this season and to look back on my life. Wow! When I think back on my life story, the one word that comes to mind is: That’s easy… REDEMPTION.
What I love about Her Life Speaks: Serving God alongside my sisters because we support each other & offer grace in all situations. My life scripture: “ And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called to his purpose” Romans 8:28 If I had three hours of free time to do anything I wanted, you would find me: You would find me curled up reading books from my must and want to reads lists with my daughter and granddaughter. My favorite thing about New Jersey:NJ has a plethora of ethnic restaurants serving authentic dishes! When I was a kid, I wanted to grow up and be: A teacher who would help struggling kids because I was one. What has surprised me most in life: If you change the way you think you change the way you feel and your life. When I think back on my life story, the one word that comes to mind is:Seeking.
What I love about Her Life Speaks: Her Life Speaks is an opportunity for Jesus loving women to gather and share. I love how we are a safe community filled with genuinely loving and caring women. Gathering together and sharing with these women is uplifting and encouraging. I do not know how people live without the word! My life scripture: "He says, “Be still, and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth"" Psalm 46:10 If I had three hours of free time to do anything I wanted, you would find me: I'd be doing whatever I feel like in the moment! I love to keep things light and spontaneous. My favorite thing about New Jersey:I love how you can go from the mountains to the beach, from an open empty field to a full bustling city in just an hour. When I was a kid, I wanted to grow up and be: A mother. What has surprised me most in life: That God is in EVERYTHING. When I think back on my life story, the one word that comes to mind is:Family.

Deity of Jesus Christ: We believe in the virgin birth of Christ, His sinless life, and that He is true God and true Man. Galatians 4:4-5, Colossians 2:9, John 1:1-2,14, Luke 1:34-35
The Atonement - Christ's death for our sins: We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, and that with His shed blood He obtained for us an eternal redemption. We believe that He concerns Himself mercifully in the affairs of each person, that He hears and answers prayer, and that He saves from sin and death all who come to Him through Jesus Christ.John 3:16-18, Romans 5:8, Hebrews 5:7, 1 John 5:14-15
The Resurrection of Christ: We believe in the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, in His ascension into heaven, and in His present life there as our high priest and advocate. Acts 2:32-33, Romans 8:34, 1 Peter 3:18
Condition of Mankind: We believe in the sinful nature of all mankind, and regeneration by the Holy Spirit is essential for salvation through repentance from sin and acceptance of Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. Psalm 51:5, Ecclesiastes 7:20, Romans 3:23, Ephesians 1:6-7, Titus 3:5
Salvation: We believe that salvation is the free gift of God, entirely apart from works, and is possessed permanently by all who have by faith received the Lord Jesus Christ as their personal Savior.Ephesians 2:8-9, John 1:12, John 10:28
The Holy Spirit: We believe that the Holy Spirit is a divine person and that He dwells in all believers. We believe that the baptism of the Holy Spirit is the sovereign work of God that occurs at the moment of conversion, whereby the Holy Spirit places the believer in the Body of Christ. Ephesians 1:13-14, Titus 3:5, Acts 1:8, 1 Corinthians 12:13
Christ's Return: We believe in the personal, imminent return of our Lord Jesus Christ. Matthew 24:42, Matthew 25:13 Judgment: We believe in the resurrection of the saved and the lost, the everlasting blessedness of the saved, and the everlasting punishment of the lost. 1 Corinthians 15:12-32, 2 Thessalonians 1:7-9, Revelation 20:11-15
