What is The Beauty Project?

The Beauty Project is the premier NJ event for girls, moms, and youth leaders to learn about their true identity and who God has created them to be through the sharing of faith stories, immersive experience, and music. The event will dive into God’s truths and share practical tools to equip teen girls to live out their faith with confidence, from the inside out!

The Beauty Project will empower and encourage girls to live with SELF-WORTH and not through “filters” but rather the lens of God! Girls will be awakened to live with intention and purpose as they navigate their school years.

Girls, moms, and youth leaders join us for a day full of encouragement and fun! We can’t wait to meet you!

Meet Our Speakers

Keynote Speaker:
Madi Prewett Troutt

Madison "Madi" Prewett Troutt is a television personality who came to national prominence in 2020 as the runner-up of season 24 of ABC's The Bachelor. Madi knows a thing or two about being strong under pressure. While on the show, she emphasized the importance of not only family, but her true devotion to Christ and her faith. She was able to draw on the strength that was already in her to be able to stay true to herself and her standards. Today, Madi is a national speaker and author with 1.8 million followers on social media.

She is passionate about equipping others to be prepared for all the moments in life that could make or break you. She believes big moments are made attainable because of the small moments. How we steward our smaller moments matter. How we respond to the bigger and pressuring moments matter. A moment can make or break you. It can build you or destroy you. It can change your mindset for the day. It can change your goals for a year. It can change your life. It can change a generation for eternity. Just one moment. Whatever moment you are in right now, is the moment you were made for.

Speaker for the Moms:
April Sliwak

Her Life Speaks | Founder and Executive Director
April’s passion is to teach and encourage women and girls in their godly worth, value, and purpose as it relates to whom God created them to be. April’s story is one of rebellion and destruction and God has used these trials as her testimony to show what God is capable of doing. A Certified Christian Life Coach, April’s emphasis is on raising up the next generation of women and equipping them to make faith-based decisions in a difficult culture.

April raised her 3 daughters together with her husband of 35 years. It was not always easy, as parenting often challenged her faith and values, but with the Lord and her community, April was able to navigate the journey with confidence. Today her daughters serve in ministry while working full time and are entrepreneurs.

Lauren Caron

Her Life Speaks | Relationship Director
For the past 11 years, Lauren has been a director and educator for teen based programs. Each year she speaks to over 3,000 teens in Middle and High Schools, Colleges and Youth Groups regarding healthy dating and relationships. She has a heart for teens and young adults, and her mission is to see the youth of today have the healthiest and most fulfilling relationships possible while following the Lord and working towards and achieving their life’s dreams and goals!

Vanessa Milanesi

Her Life Speaks | Worship Director
Vanessa is an award-winning singer, songwriter, and worship-leader from NJ. Vanessa uses her gifts and own personal experience to help others find their unique voice and step forward in everything God has to offer them. Vanessa seeks to serve women through song and worship by preparing hearts to enter the presence of God and to create a space for the Holy Spirit to move.

Madi: Made For This Moment
Although Madi is recently known for her time as a finalist on The Bachelor, it was what she did before to prepare for that moment that mattered. Today, Madi’s focused message is not just in how to respond once you’re in the moment, but the preparation before the moment that matters just as much, if not more. She takes a deeper dive into all this and more and hopes to help each girl and woman find their own preparation and readiness as they meet the challenges that are ahead and to face the obstacles that are meant to be overcome, to reach and embrace their destiny. Madi will offer tips to help navigate the complex realities of living in an age of social media and confusing standards. God’s timing is not a mistake – you were made for such a time as this.

Lauren: Healthy Relationships
Lauren will be talking to the teen girls about boys, abstinence, identity, faith, navigating Christ-centered healthy relationships, and avoiding the comparison trap that is so easy to fall into in our world of social media.

April: Raising Girls: The Family Secrets
April knows firsthand the challenges of raising girls in a world where they want to be accepted and loved, heard and known. It’s not an easy task. April will offer biblical inspiration, tools and personal stories to help you raise strong, confident, and God loving women. Leave knowing you are the loving Mom Boss!

Vanessa: Worship
Vanessa will kick off The Beauty Project with beautiful praise music to prepare our hearts and minds for the day. When we begin with a heart of worship and let go of our worries, the Holy Spirit is able to move freely and shift the atmosphere. We welcome His presence!
