Have you ever thought “If only I had known _________when I was a teenager my life would have been a lot different”? On occasion I have pondered this and came up with a list of things I wish I was told. Here’s my list of the 7 things I wish I knew when I was a teen:
Today, I have tried to instill all that I’ve learned about Jesus and His GREAT love into my two teenage girls. However, I know they cannot receive it all from me and I need other women to help teach and guide them. It does take a village. Direct your children onto the right path, and when they are older, they will not leave it. Proverbs 22:6 The Beauty Project is a perfect opportunity for girls to learn and grow in a safe and fun atmosphere about God’s love for them and their identity in Christ. I hope you will come with your daughter(s) and make it a priority for them so they’ll be ahead of the game in their faith, value and self-worth. What do you wish you knew? Dear Terryl, well said!!! I echo your story about knowing God intimately when I was a teenager, shy, fearful without a clear understanding of Jesus.
